How many woman are suffering from hair loss? I am and it is really updsetting to me. I am losing it in the crown area of my head. I've had this problem for many years but recently it has been getting worse. I am considering hair restoraton but it is SO expensive. Is anyone taking medication that helps?

I suffer from thinning hair but at this time I do not have any 'bare patches' on my scalp. Have you had a test done to check your hormone levels as this is what caused my thinning hair. The hairdresser suggested/recommended that I should have a good scalp massage and I do that every day. The Doctor said it couldn't hurt and although he didn't know whether it would work, it would increase the blood circulation. I am not sure whether it is this or not, but at least now my hair is not thinning anymore, for which I am extremely thankful. Good luck and I hope that you can get the result you want, without having to spend a fortune. :)

I lose hair. Now I am taking biotin. Plus I apply a medicated oil and massage. I think it helps me.
