Do you have an unusual hobby?

I am a live action role player or larper. It's generally viewed by most people as wierd and bizarre but it's great fun. Think dungeons and dragons but for real. Wearing the costume, acting the character, fighting the fights and destroying the demons. I like to call it Cross Country Pantomime when trying to describe it to others, but it all good clean and harmless fun and great stress release too. So, do you guys have an unusual hobby? Are you a larper?

Hi, your hobby sounds like great fun. There is a place called Powderham Castle not too far from me where they do all the jousting weekends and stuff, I haven't been but it does sound like great fun. I suppose my strangest hobby is my interest in witchcraft!

Last year a group of us spent a weekend at Joust, providing entertainment for the children. We ran *Mash a Monster* where the guys were kitted up as ghouls, goblins, demons and the like, and the kids paid £1 each to *kill* the monster. We're going back again this year too.

If you can make it along to the big one *JOUST* we will be there.

Sounds like loads of fun! I must get along to one of these weekends as it is literally only 15 minutes away from where I live by car!

Which LARPs do you play? I'm not much of a gamer outside of the occasional tabletop game of Shadowcraft (my character is an intelligence-enhanced Troll named Daisy), but my ex-husband and his mom are both big Live Action Vampire fans. Hmm, what are my odd hobbies... ... I thrift and dumpsterdive, and often sell my findings on eBay or craiglist. I like to forage for wild foods. I'm also an avid rollerblader. None of these seem weird to me, but others react like they're pretty novel.

I have played at Labyrinthe in Kent, Omega, Lorien Trust and Maelstrom. These days I have cut back a little, mainly due to costs, but I still love my larp.

you have a cute and funny hobby. people around you might think you're weird but if they get to know you better, they might have fun, too watching you do such things. i am not a larper. but i do babytalk most of the time especially to my boyfriend. and he finds me funny. the good thing is, he babytalks sometimes, too when talking to me. real good fun for us.

Not sure baby talk and dungeons and dragons gaming go together hun
