Games games, games!

We love to play games at our home, especially chess, strategeo, Settlers of Catan, and Carrassone and Risk. I always am scouting out other fun "family" games we can play. No Dungeons & Dragons please. So there must be "game" folks out here...What can you recommend? Whats a fun strategy game you have played?
