Its a prediction by Goldman...an ecnomic research that by 2050 India shall be richest country on earth.It'll be so if the growth rate of India which has been consistent at 8 remains atleast till 2020 and then it has to increase.

It will be possible if India can retain all the foreign companies that is making business with it and also eradicate poverty in the country. But as long as poverty is present, a country can't move forward that much.
