This is a self improvement book.... About handling changes in life... One of the most beautiful book I have read. It is not a novel it is just about say 20 pages with nice big font... looks like a kids book but it has its own value.... you can finish in say half an hour. But will surely leave an impact on you....

I have read this book a few years back and I can't really remember the characters' name but I have to say I resemble the mouse that does not want to change. For me, I am very uncomfortable with change. I rather stick to a routine that I know what will happen and what I can do about it. I guess that's a bad thing. The book is really an eye opener but yet I find myself resisting change but I did made some progress as I tried to venture beyond the unknown sometimes.

Exploring unknown areas in life gives us more reason to live. I am more open to changes. Somehow I am not able to get myself into a routine. I always admire people who follow a perfect routine. But whatever be our life style... this book has its own effect on us.

Sometimes I think I resemble Hem. He denies and resists changes. Yes I do fear change would lead to disasters. Our city underwent a finance crisis in 1997, its economy declined to buttom level. Many people became jobless. Recession has been haunting the society for years. If people here was like Haw who learned to adapt changes in time, the pain might not be so severe. So I think I should learn from Haw; even facing the unkown future, I should try to get something out of the changing situation.

you are right people sould be like HAW adaptable to changes. If there are no changes in life then we would just exist not live. Everything will become a routine and monotonus. I would prefer the life of the mouse in the story everyday is a brand new day with new challange to be faced.
