Teaching is an important job.

Teaching is a very important job and a very stressful one. I know at the end of the day, I am exhausted...not only from just the teaching, but from all the extras...paperwork...kids who require tutoring that we get NO extra paycheck to tutor...differentiating instruction for the advanced kid to the basic kid, something teachers didn't do when I was in school. It's definitely stressful..but you are right about the trust issue, and trust doesn't just refer to trust in my being an adequate teacher. They need to trust me as a person. I recently had a student and a friend come to me to let me know that one of them had been cutting. That took a lot of guts, and one of the students told the counselor that I took them to that the only reason she told me is because they trusted me and knew that I would do the right thing and that I would understand their situation more than any of their other teachers. If nothing else I have done affected anyone this year, it doesn't matter. I DID change someone's life.

of course teaching is a very important job as u are imparting knowledge and has to give the correct information. u have to love ur students and love the subjects that u are teaching only then u can become a good teacher. teachers are always held in high esteem

Yes, you are right . Teaching is an important job as it makes base of all students for their future. To get more from teacher there must be trust from students side.

i agree with you. i take up education because i like to teach. and its very enjoyable for me and a big obligation for me because the learning of the students depends on me so i need to motivate and teach students very well. it is an important job because without teacher there is no engineer, accounting,doctor,nurse, technician etc.
