Which organ in your body do you consider the most important? Are any more vital than others? If you could replace an organ with a highly improved one, what would you replace?

There are a few we need, but I would assume it is the heart, as it needs to pump all our blood.

The heart. Yes. Can it survive without the brain fully functioning?

The brain and the heart is more vital. But every organ is important, as your body is an organism that depends on organs to function. With kidneys you would die. Without a livre you would also die. So every organ is important.

Thanks. It is a tough choice between the brain and heart.

Yes I do beleive so. If you are alive and braindead, your heart is still working but not a single wave of thinking is being processed. Life is pretty much pointless. But without a heart no life would be possible in the first place, as it delivers blood to every other vital organ as well.

For me it is the eyes, they are the most important and most valued organs in my body, sometimes I wish I didn't have a heart, not for living, I mean for getting broken and bruised! If I could improve any organ it would be my heart, I'd have it made out of stone and impenetrable! The worst organ to go wrong for me would be to lose my sight.

That is interesting. Seems like the heart is vulnerable to being broke in two.

Yes, the heart is very important. It is the easiest organ to get torn apart.

For me the most important part of my body is my brain. I will be dumb and crazy and can't do anything right if my brain is not working properly. Maybe some members will disagree with me that I choose brain than heart because I believe when you are out of your mind your heart will not function well and can love the person we love, we will never recognize them and that's awful.

Tahnks. Much of the heart's function does depend on the brain. Don't feel dumb and crazy, think smart and happy.

I would have to say that THE SKIN IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ORGAN. Of course some will disagree with me. Some will say that the skin is not an organ in the true sense of the word, but I was taught in nursing school that the skin is also the largest organ in the human body. If the skin is not intact all sorts of infections can get in and wreak havoc on ALL THE REST OF WHAT PEOPLE CALL ORGANS. I would absolutely replace my skin with some highly improved covering. Consider what would happen if infection could not get a place to enter your body. Wouldn't that be great? My two cents on this subject. Thank you.
