Have you ever lost a friend when a guy came into your life?

When I first met my best friend, we found we had everything in common. We started doing everything together. We went on trips together, rode my horses together. We liked the same hobbies such as drawing and swimming and bike riding. We did everything together. We even worked at two different jobs together just so we could hang out with eachother more. But then when I met my first guy and started going on with him, my friend and I slowly started losing contact. Last summer I ended up marrying my hubby, and since the wedding, I think I've seen my friend twice. Now when my friend and I talk, it almost feels like we are strangers. Has anyone ever felt this way before?

hi, yes ive lost alot of friends due to being with my partner, they have slowly drifted away most of them because i was with them alot more when i was single but most of them lied to me too saying he was having an affair because they didn't like the fact that i didn't have as much time to go out with them because of being in a stable relationship.

I know the feeling. I had one really good friend in high school, her and I would do everything together. But then my boyfriend came into my life and she got jealous. She's one of those people who think that if she doesn't have something, no one should, it had just never applied to me before. It's not like I had flaunted him in front of her, she never even saw him as he didn't go to high school but I still had something that she didn't.
She started getting snobby with me, which made me push her away. We don't even talk now, I regret it sometimes.
