Do you change your icon?

I have noticed recently that some of my friends are changing their icons. I find it kinda confusing because I get used to seeing them and then think they have disappeared. It takes me a while to realize that they are still there, just a different picture. Once I get used to that picture, it's changed again. You guys are really keeping me on my toes!
I don't plan to change my icon, it's "me". I also don't usually change my appearance in real life either. I don't change my hairstyle or color - I've probably looked the same for ever...
Do you change your icon alot and if so do you change your real appearance too?

I do, I like to change my Icon and have something for the holidays. So I decided for the reasons you mentioned, to leave my sunny face there and add some holiday cheer around it. Like this one now has the hearts for Vanlentines coming next month.
I do change my hair style. Once every 2 years I cut it off to my ear lobes. So I go from hair to my mid back, to hair above my shoulders every two years. It really messes with my friends, but I can't stand one way for two long.

I don't change my icon because it represents me and my interests pretty. Not that I'm sccared from being burnt because I'm not. I just like sc ary things. But I have noticed some people are constantly changing their icons. It does get very confusing.

sunshinecup - you are one of the ones that I noticed right away! I do like the addition. At least I knew you were still here :) Sometimes it takes me a while to figure out who's posting on my friends discussions when they change them.
I'm just not big on change I guess!!

Oops! I changed mine for the holidays (sprig of holly), but now I'm sticking with this water lily. I noticed that many of my friends changed their icons, and it is pretty confusing at first. However, I know that if they're in "Discussions my friends started", they belong there.
In "real life", I don't change my hairstyle or color very often, and several people have told me I should, so maybe I'll consider doing that this year.

I think all my friends kinda changed theirs at the same time and I really noticed it. I did get used to it, but it takes a minute to figure out who those "new" friends are!

I am happy with what I have now. I have changed my icon a couple of times. And, yes like you, I get confused. I look for a familiar icon rather than the name.

It's really hard to with the people who have the default pic there too. Although most of my friends have their own.

I have changed mine a couple of times. I do it for the holidays. Its just fun to use something different.
Yes I change my appeance to. I color my hair, and change my hair style alot. I'm a hair dresser and I just can't keep it the same. Right now I have to grow out my hair for a wedding I'm in this summer. I normally keep it short so it's really crazy for me now. LOL

Heya, I change some things about me like hair colour and style but I would not change my Avatar. My Avatar is 'me' also, which was what attracted me to you as a friend in the first place as our's are similar.
I agree with you thats sometimes it's hard to keep track of people when they are constantly changing their Avatar.

hahaha! That's funny because that was a big plus for you also as far as being a friend :)
I like when you can tell something about the person just from the pic they have. Of course, many people who know me find it hard to believe that I have saturn - I'm just not the type really...
