What are your views on attachment parenting?

Are you an attachment parent or are you strictly against? Do you implement some of the attachment principles in your life? I have noticed online that their seems to be a lot of judgement between parents of differing philosophies. Does the 'family bed' seem heinous to you, or make perfect sense? Does seeing a mom 'wearing' her baby make you roll your eyes, or are you an avid babywearer?

I'm an attachment parent. I don't judge others for what they do, I just try to influence them to sway my way! I do get a lot of crap for cosleeping, babywearing, gentle discipline and such-but no sweat off my back (which is wearing a baby lol), my son is very happy!

Oh I think I saw a show on Television awhile ago now where they showed these people but they made them out to be a weird cult or something....it is interesting, I wonder how many people agree with this....

For me, I just didn't do all of that attachment stuff, but I respect those mothers and fathers that do it. To each their own, and if I expect not to be judged, then I cannot very well go around judging others on their parenting skills. No mother or father is perfect, we all just do what we can and what we feel is best in our own situations.
