Raw fish

Do you eat raw fish? I used to hate even just the sight of it, until my husband forced me to taste raw salmon while we were eating at a Japanese restaurant, then I absolutely just fell in love with it! Haha. The meat is so tasty and soft. It literally just melts in your mouth! Coupled with wasabe and that special soy sauce, it's a real winner! How do you prepare raw fish at home? It's just so expensive dining out all the time just to eat raw fish. Haha.

I am still too nervous to prepare sushi at home. I have a beautiful sushi set - preparation tools and serving platters. But there's something very different for me between eating it at a sushi place and fixing it myself. I'll get over it eventually, but for now I'll just eat my sushi in the restaurant.
