Paul isn't the reason, per say. They all went their seperate ways, some chose solo gigs - ie Ben - while others decided to stay out of the spotlight.

I am not sure, but I know that Christian who was a member of A1 is a solo artist here in Norway. One of my best friends went to the same school as him when they were younger , and a earlier co-worker of mine know him very well.

Hi Shiela15!!! I think Paul is not the reason why they disbanded in the year 2002. I think that's their own decision as a group, well maybe to pursue a solo career or something. But whatever their reason is, they are still one of the most talented boyband on the whole world. I hope that someday they will reunite as a band. The good thing after they are gone in the music industry is that they remain as friends until now.

i guess when Paul left the band, they began to consider having their own solo careers. Although they are not saying that they had close the idea of reuniting again. Mark continues to write music, while ben and christian have their own solo careers, while Paul had formed a band of his own called snagsby.
