Has anybody seen the movie Hotel Rwanda? I just recently watched it and I found it so moving and terrible at the same time. I thought that after what Hitler did with the Jews, there would be no more ethnic cleansing like this. But I was wrong. The movie was based on real life and I do know it actually happened, but I wasn't aware of the magnitude the killings reached. It's just so terrible that some countries still engage in such ethnic cleansing practices, thinking that one race/group is better than the other. We are all humans and we should just love each other rather than destroy.

I thought this was an incredible movie; very disturbing but it was also very well done. It's so hard to imagine why people do these things...fear, hatred, greed, I don't know. I agree that we should love and care about eachother because life is precious and in many ways, way too short.
