What is it with ex's

I have an ex-husabnd who is trying to take me to court for not letting him see his children. When in all actuality it is him who is at fault. He has not tried to contact them in almost a year, and he never finished the children coping with divorce class that you are required to take by the state of indiana before your divorce is final. Thankfully the judge went ahead and granted the divorce, otherwise we would not be ex's. He is trying to tell me that I am in contemp of court. How can this be when he has not called stopped by, or even tried to write them a letter? I know that he just wants to be a jerk because he left IM's on my computer stating that I was only getting myself into trouble. He also told me that I would be hearing from his lawyer. I told him to bring it. How do you deal with people like this? Do you think he is out to get me more than he cares about the kids aspect of the whole situation? He never did anything about anything until he found out that I was taking him to court for an increase in child support. Then he did something. So I really think it was more out of spite than love for his chilren... What do you guys think? If you have any pointers, I would love to hear them. THANK YOU
