I do think both are good batsmen.But i think dinesh is a better keeper.

I feel dhoni is a more destructive player and he should concentrate on his batting whereas karthick is a grafter and i feel he is more confident behind stumps.

Absolutely right. Dhoni has very good batting skills. He should bat at No. 3. To come in at No. 3 after 50 overs behind the stumps is not going to be that easy. So, Dhoni should be relieved of the wicket-keeping duties.
Dinesh Karthick is certainly a better keeper in my view. His diving catch to dismiss Smith in the deciding match against SA was a great piece of work. His stumping to dismiss Michael Vaughan in one of the Natwest series one-dayers is still in my mind. With his batting also improved a lot, he should be given the gloves.
