Acupuncture, a cure?

Do you really believe that acupuncture can cure where modern medicine can only mask the symptoms? I was recenlty diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease, which is a condition where the immune system attacks the thyroid. When my endocirnologist decided he would not treat me, I went for acpuncture treatments It's five weeks later and the blood test results came back that I no longer have Hashimoto's disease. The doctor was amazed at the blood test results. Do you think this is a temporary fix or will I be back at acupuncture again?
