Are we really throwing our lot in with all this silly question and answer stuff that no one gives a good dog ham about?

It's sad that I have to go through pages and pages and PAGES of stupid posts just to find anything that catches my interest. I don't want to see the posts about what so and so had for dinner or what color the sky is where I'm at. I wish there were a way to block those users so I don't see their posts at all. I'm not on mylot hardly at all anymore because of this.

I agree, it would be be nice if we had a superficial filter, either at a posting level or just as a category. Too bad there is not a way to code into the process some way to limit questions like is water blue where you live? Or how do I tell my mother in law that she is annoying? or all that other drivel. Other useful filters might include filtering by bashing topics: filter out any bashing agsint any group designated in filter Looking at things by interest groups still leaves too many drivel topics
