Fears, phobias, faults, and foolishness

It seems to me that people who focus too heavily upon the first two apparently are riddled with a multitude mixture of the latter two. If I hear one more fool say "I ain't scared of nothing but God!" I am going to slap them silly. My stock response is: "If God is the only thing that you fear then you are obviously a fool because all of the things that you should be cautious of or have a healthy amount of fear for, can only be overcome in the light and grace of the will of God. Fear him? He's on your side you nitwit!"

Isnt that rulo ultimato? Fear God I mean. I dont think they meant 'fear' in the literal sense. Fear out of respect would be more like it i believe. As far as phobias are concerned i would probably just have to write a novel about them. As far as your fears arent the ones derived from superstitious beliefs, i think that being a little scared about everything is quite human. Not as far as the pee in pants syndrome, but good enough to be careful.

Oh I love the last line there Sharone. That's great. I tend to agree with you. Some fears are completely irrational and if the person is smart, they know it. But too many don't know it apparently.
