Faith alone cannot save a man on judgment day. The consequence of faith supposed to be is action but sometimes many just depend on having faith and they do not do anything which is not true faith.

My friend, the only thing that i can say to you is: you are qouting verses in the bible which is actually cannot prove that faith plus good works. I think my friend, you've better learn more how to interpret the bible in order for you to use that kind of verse correctly.
James 2:14 is actually saying about the manifestation of works in faith. Or in other words, true and genuine faith always produces good works. That is the proper interpretation of that verse my friend.

The question is, faith to whom or to what ?
This is to broad. What faith are you talking about here?
If you are talking about someone I know called Faith (yes I know my nieces friend, called Faith).
I doubt she could save any man on the judgement day, she is only 3 and she doesn't even know anything about judgement.

If salvation can be gained through works, I doubt if somebody will ever be saved. No one is good enough to reach God's standards of holiness. God provided a way for men to get to Him and this is through faith. A person who truly have faith in God will demonstrate it through his works and way of living.

it hard to say, if you belive that and you fell good, its ok for you to have faith, first of all you have to faith with yourself too

if this faith refer to god? there were some instances that faith in god saves life... but sometimes people just leave their luck to god for me that is wrong we have still to work hard for our luck

I think faith has big powers and it can do magical things. Almost every successful man knows that he can acheive his goals merely having faith or belief. A legend has said, if you think you can, then you are right and if you think you cant, again you are right. So, faith or belief has great powers for those who believe in this saying.
Now, as far as Judgement day is concernt I would like to keep myself away from commenting on any religious topics. But again I say, FAITH is a big magic!
