if not so important i just text it, but if it personal and emergency situation, i call. text messaging is cheaper. but sometimes calling is important because of moral support when there is problem.

Sending a text is taking a bit of time, and just for fun on new year or when he or she is not on the phone. Calling is fast and more realistic than sending than a message. You can know the feeling of the phone respondent. I use calling more than sending a message, we have four different phone companies in my local. The telephone companies haven't shared the sending message yet.

Well, it depends on the type of work or need of that time. I usually send text messages for the one line informations like I am not coming due to some problem or tomorrow is holiday, or some such kind of things. And only call when its really urgent or whenever have call on land-line phones where SMS cannot be send. But SMS is really useful when a person is busy in coaching or meeting then the person will not be get disturbed. Have a nice day.

It's nice to call and hear the voice on the other end especially if it's someone special. But for people like me who almost always run out of things to say, texting is a good alternative to express feelings I can't put into spoken words. Though impersonal, it's something you can save in your phone (and use as evidence/proof afterwards lol!). Moreover, calling is more expensive than texting that's why majority prefer the latter.

Calling only. Text message is not personal and I think sometimes that I get it by mistake.

I usually prefer text messaging. I don't have much of balance account for my phone. I'm only having 30 pesos of load for my phone for text messaging or calling. It ranges sometimes up to 3 days. I'm so thrifty. I only call if it's for urgent.
