I prefer a white bread for it is more delicious and has a quality but I agree with you that a brown bread is much much nutritious and very affordable too.

I agree that brown or wholemeal bread is better with a much higher content of fibre than white bread but I still like white bread better in terms of taste. But for the sake of health and weight control I take the wholemeal bread.

You are very right brown bread is not only nutritious but also easier to digest. We earlier used ot use white bread but when doctors recomended brown bread for my mother in law who is suffering from sugar we switched over to it. Intitially we had some problems as the taste is not that good but now it is the norm in our family.

Yes, definitely. I too agree with you that brown bread is more healthy than white bread because it contains more nutitional value than the white bread. Here is another tip while shopping for the brown bread:Brown bread is not always more nutritious than white. In fact, the brown color is often just a marketing gimmick, just white bread with coloring added (like a fake tan). To tell if a brown bread is really more nutritious, read the label. If the first ingredient is "whole wheat," this is a healthy food. If it says "bleached" or "enriched" flour, or just wheat flour, it is just colored white bread. Some labels will say only "wheat flour," which is 75 percent white and 25 percent whole wheat. Always check the label rather than going by color.
