Are you a god fearing person?

I have heard people saying that they have a fear of god and they always confess when they do something wrong. I have never had such a feeling and even when I lie to someone I don't feel there is a need to confess it to someone , may it be god or anyone. Its not so that I don't believe in god or something like my being atheist. The main reason behind this is that if I lie then its just I felt that it was right at that particular instant. Am I wrong in believing this? Being a god fearing person dosen't guarantee that you are a good person. Are you also god fearing?

No, I'm not a God fearing person. I'm not an atheist; I'm an agnostic (i.e. I'll find out when I get there). I think people's fears should be based on what's actually going on around them and not an invisible being that may or may not exist.

I am an atheist and so I cannot have fear for something I think doesn't exist. It is fun how people usually use the "You must fear god thing" sometimes with this as the reason against crimes, etc. Would these person comit crimes if there were no gods?

Yes, I'm a God-fearing person. My conscience can't reall take it if I always make bad things.

Do things for the right reasons...and I hardly find fear to be the right reason. I would like to think that any god wouldn't want us to worship them out of fear...but rather with faith. Seeing the higher power that you believe in as your greatest source of inspiration would be better than seeing him/her as an angry parent who's going to punish you with eternal damnation.
