Tis quite the shame that vegetables are not part of the diet. How healthy is he? Maybe you could make a deal with him and suggest something that he really likes and once a week for trying a vegetable and he has the full chance to have or do something that he really likes. Could make a game of it and both of you have some fun with it. Just cannot imagine not liking vegetables. Doesn't he have tomates, lettuce and stuff on his burgers? Good luck with this. I hope you find someway to help him eat vegetables!

I don't really know why one really has to hate vegetables. I have a colleague here who also hate to eat vegetables and I asked him why. He just told us that he doesn't like it. We asked him if what if there is no meat anymore and vegetables are the only one he can eat then he replied he is willing to die if there is no meat anymore. LOL!

I think your hubby's still has that dreaded kid-hate-vegetables syndrome, he didn't grown up liking it. When I was a kid I didn't also like the taste of vegetables, I was very picky during that time. But When I came to our province to have a vacation, I realized that I have to appreciate it because if I don't I would die starving. It was when their means of living there was somewhat not good, so I have to learn to it some vegetables. In fact I even have to eat "bayawak" just to taste meat. Just tell your hubby to be more appreciative to what's served on the table, consider himself lucky that you can still eat to atleast three times a day, while others are not so lucky and have difficulties in looking to put something on their plate..

If your husband cannot take take vegetables at all, fruits are the best substitutes. Have him take fruits on a regular daily basis. You will see that it will be just as good as having his share of the vegetables. If he gets to develop his taste for fruits, there is a chance that he will slowly adjust to vegetables. A little hope is better than nothing at all.

NO, I don't think so. I like to eat vegtable, and I seldom eat other things. I think eating vegetable is good for people's health, and make people escape from sickness. I know most of girls or women like to eat vegetable, but most of man don't like it, it is fun, but I think it is acceptable, because man need to do some energy work, it need to spend more energy, so vegetable is not enough.

Most of the people that will not eat vegetables were not introduced to the m at a very early age. another reason they won't eat them is they were told as young children that they were good for you and they got the idea that any thing good for has to taste bad. I have a granddaughter that certain vegetable and meats would kill her. She would eat hot dog that are really bad for you. No one knows where she came up with this idea.

I don't like vegetables too when i was young. But my mom always insist me to eat it. After i grown up, it's not bad to eat vegetables though. You feel more refeshing if you eat it then you eat meat. Maybe you can mixed the vegetables with meat, until you can't see the vegetables itself. I don't know how to do that, but i am sure there are many recipe for that.

If he really will not eat vegetables, there's nothing more that you can do about it. There are some ways to go about it, though. If he eats with catsup, buy the ones which are produced from pure tomatoes. If he loves having dips, mustard will be another help, a plus to the ketchup. Your husband may have a liking to some fruits and beverages which are fruit based. This will also cover for the vegetables and the fibers which he is supposed to consume. Observe as to what are his favorite fruits. Among the good ones are grapes, apples, mangoes, pineapples, papayas, bananas and guavas.
