Actually, this is not too surprising. Dogs have a "sweet tooth" and most vegetables are sweeter than "non veg". Just bite into a fresh carrot or some peas and you'll see what I mean. Fruits are also enjoyed by dogs and naturally sweet foods are much better than sweet junk food. Just be sure his diet is balanced or give him a "doggy vitamin" to make sure he is getting all the things he needs.

Our Tara loves her veggies!! I can't get out a package of carrots without giving her some. She'll sit there and crunch on them while I am peeling the others for dinner. She also love potatoes. She will even pick her own berries off the bushes when they are in season. I watch her thought to make sure she only eats the ones that are good for her. Just be careful what veggie you give your pooch as some can be harmful.

Yup that's quite an healthy dog :)! I knew animals sometimes sorted things within their food that they eat and the rests they only eat when they are starving, but didn't knew a dog ever would prefer vegetables!
