Suggestion to Mylot !!! ----- polls

With a poll, you would have to limit the models for new mobiles, whereas with today's method of using discussions, you can just ask people what they prefer and why. I am afraid that if polls were an option, we would go back to where we used to be here on mylot, with nothing but "Do you prefer Coke or Pepsi" type questions.

No. I don't think so as mylot did states very clear in their discussions guidelines that they don't allow any poll on mylot. If you have very good reasons to start any discussions concerning the opinions from others am sure its not hard for you to get some good responses.

I think that would be a good idea. I don't think they would do it, though. The idea is to get people to communicating with others. A poll gives opinions, but no the reasons behind those opinions. If they did polls, they'd have to decide how to pay for it.

mmmm...! Maybe , maybe not. This would mean the managing people have to work on making such a poll. They might have to set up some thing in the sytem to receive opinions. This might mean a lot of extra work. On the other hand we can express our thoughts on the discussions. With these info they are able also take actions according to our requests.
