Working from Home

Does anyone here work completely from home off the internet? How did you take the plunge from working outside of the home to working at home? Was it a difficult decision to make? In June, I will not have a babysitter anymore, and instead of looking for a daytime job I am seriously considering trying to earn the income completely from home. Is this just a pipe dream or are there some people out here who are living this life?

I work completely from home, on my computer. I'm a website designer and graphic artist, so my work varies between the internet and just desktop use, but it's computer based nonetheless. I can't compare it to working outside the home, however ... because I never have. I went from being a student, to having children ... and making the decision to choose a career that would allow me to stay home and be closer to my kids. I didn't want a day care raising them. :) Good luck ;)

It's very possible. I work from home. I work for 3 different companies. I am an employee with one and an IC for the other two. Go to www.wahm.com to get started in your search for work at home. It is a great site and everyone is very helpful. That site is where I found all my jobs. Good Luck!

I thought earning through Mylot is the best way to earn from home. There are also methods like you can register at e-book publishing, medical transcription and so-on. If you good at typing you can also try some data entry projects. Also suggest me if there are any other ways which could be fruitful.

I do paid blogging and earn about $200 a month this way, not much but it's not bad for what it is. Mommy Space http://mommyspace.blogspot.com/ has information on paid blogging.

Hi there, I am new to this so bear with me. I am a stay at home mom and have often wanted to do some internet earning but have found it very dificult to find real work. There are so manny companies out there that say you can earn money from home and they turn out to be taking some hour and half survey to be entered in a drawing or something like that. I would be very interested if anyone had any good leads on real earnings at home ! I tried eBay but unless you can buy a truck load of merchandise at once you realy dont make much money, definately not worth the time you put in to it.

Thanks for your comment. You could try some paid posting sites like paidposting.net and forumbooster.net They do pay and they have paid me to post on forums for them.

My husband and I are currently building a business that will become his only job. We're doing it part-time now since we both work and hope to have my husband do this full time by the end of the year. It's real work, you don't need a degree in anything, and it's a perfect fit for us. If you think you might be interested in hearing more about it, message me - it's too much to put in a post and we don't have a website yet.

I work from home but i'm also a college boarding student. That means I don't have to worry about bills so these things for me just as spending cash. I make money at the following places: working as a ChaCha.com guide. (you have to have an invite to get in on this.) http://www.treasuretrooper.com/186917 (200.00 & 50 visa GC in 2 months) Greenfieldonline.com (20 dollar one hour survey-takes LONG time for checks to mail once you've requested though)

I do work part time from home, I have a nice extra income from home that if I would do it full time could support me. If you like you can check out my website I have several things listed that are legit opportunities http://www.freewebs.com/skirvinator The ones I currently work on which pay the most and which have paid be are ChaCha and Disciple's Cross, I also have listed several other ways to make a little extra money, as well some Legit Data Entry Jobs that I have found on the internet. Hope this helps

I have been working from home for 4 years. I take incoming customer service calls. I love working from home. I don't have to pay money for gas, I don't have to dress up for work and I am home for my daughter. This is the best job I have ever had. And I make as much money as I did working outside the home. It is very hard to find legitimate work from home jobs. There are alot of scams out there, so you have to be careful. Never, ever pay anyone for a job. If it is a real job, they will not ask you for money. The only down side is that I do not have any health insurance.

Making a decision to quit our job and work from home is a real major decision. After almost 30 years of working and making others rich, I realised that life is more than that. This coming April, I have taken a major decision to quit my job due to stress and leading to impending health problem. I planned to work from home. Creating monthly passive income is my first priority now. I hope to be successful in this venture and be able to share with all of you one day.

yes. you can make real money at home. there are so many part time job on internet... you don't have to cut yourself off internet if you are planning to stay at home for a few months. Through internet you can earn some money and if you get familiar with earning money on internet, maybe you can earn more than you work outside home

I've been for 1 year working as Home Base Data Entry specialist up to the present. Before I was like most in field work as an Account Receivable/Finance Clerk. Working at home make me feel more easy and away from traffic and any troubles outside like you have to deal with your co-workers with different problems in attitudes. I must say that I feel more comfortable working at home than working at field.
