Slang words

I am not sure if it is considered slang, but it really bothers me to hear so many people using the f*** word. Almost everyone I know uses the word. It is an ugly word and it is used in every way. As a noun, verb, adjective, etc. When I was young, you hardly ever heard the word. If you did, it was because someone was really, really mad or upset. Now it is heard even when someone is describing something good, or telling a "happy" story. I think it is horrible.
