TAROT CARDS: Do you want a "Card for the Day?"

I am trying to hone my skills in transforming some cosmic flow of energy between the universe and me (yeah, whatever than means!) through the Tarot cards. I've been reading for my friends and their relatives, but I'd really like to be able to at least pick one card for some stranger who is at the very least curious about the cards. I've been doing fine with my friends, but there's always the factor of subtle or accidental cheating because I *know" them so well. So I'd like to see how I'd fare with strangers. My style with Tarot is not really to give a prediction, it's more like talking about a person's emotional struggles for stability, stress, etc. Anyone who thinks Tarot is a shameful load of crap should not be bothered, of course. Anyway, if you've heard of Tarot Cards, been read to, or been using it, let me know :)

Just a little point here, but aren't Tarot cards supposed to be a means to read and understand the cosmic energy flow in your life, rather than to "transform" it? I know that's a bit off the topic, and regarding your offer for a card of the day, I'd have to respectfully decline, as I try to be in tune with my/the universe's own ebbs and flows in my own way. I've nothing against Tarot at all, but as I understand it, they're not for changing this flow, but to help you understand it. All the best, and good luck with the Tarot!

I have had one really interesting reading with Tarot cards before. I think if anything they are a fun and interesting way to learn more about yourself. If you want, I would be happy if you tried reading my cards. Send me a private message and tell me what you will require to do this. Cheers!

I first used Tarot cards when I was very young. My great-grandmother used them. In the past few years I haven't been as interested in them, because for a while it became an issue of people always wanting to me to read for them, usually about things they didn't care enough to work towards anyway. I'd love to have someone else read for me though. It's a luxury I haven't had very much. =)

warmest greetings to you all! i've been busy; hence, the late reply. my original plan was to give you a card for the day thing, but that won't be much of a detailed reading. i figured, why not do a 5-card reading? so if anyone is still interested, please holler at YM :) my username is crypticmess. RE: energy to understand and transform, thanks for sharing your thoughts. i think i know what you mean, except we are looking at things differently. (and that's just the way it is right?) i look at myself and everyone as powerful creatures who can influence the transformation of energy around us. everything changes. sometimes, the changes are beyond our control. sometimes, we are given the privilege to decide for our self. it is what we do with the privilege that can effect changes in our life, and our environment. for instance, how do you transform the energy of attraction into an energy of love? would you like to transform it at all? or do you just want to walk away from it because it's not right to even entertain the idea? energy is constant and we ought to understand it. but we are not to be mere observers of these forms of energy *if* we can do something about it. as one type of energy transforms from one form to another, sometimes, we can make a difference. "how" is the question. sometimes, the cards give some POV. but the cards are not always *interpreted* right. this is the part that i'm trying to improve at -- reading the cards :) thank you!!! :)

Well, I wish you all the luck in the world to accomplish that. My husband used to read Tarot Cards but after he went to school, he doesn't have time to do so anymroe. I am not into it myself.
