How long can you stand silence in the house?

If we are at war with our significant other, sometimes its wise just to keep silent than to say words that will aggravate the situation. And some couple do keep silent and can do it for days. Personally, I find this very difficult, I can stand for maybe a day, 2 at the most, longer than that is terrible. How about you?
