I have been really struggling with my 7 year old who has Autism, ADHD and susected Dysraxia, but now Matilda Moo my cow alarm clock with authentic moo has cured my struggles. A few days ago it was taking me over 3 hours to get Bong to school and he was awful on his return home too so I was at my wits end. It's so easy, just set the alarm for a few minutes ahead and give your little angel a task to be finished before Matilda moos, it can be done for mealtimes, tidy times, washing, anything really. Bong will do anything to beat Matilda Moo and can sometimes do something extra so he's really proud. The game is to beat Matilda, although Matilda sometimes Moos before he is ready as a reminder (usually because he has forgotten and I pretend Matilda is just checking. If he wins then he can turn the alarm off and get praised. When he got home yesterday, Matilda made him get changed, help tidy his room, eat his tea, get bathed and ready for bed, have his story and be in bed by 7.30pm watching a DVD. This morning Matilda got him up, breakfasted, showered, teeth cleaned, dressed, coat and shoes on, school bag in hand and out to the car by 8.45am. Taking only 1 and 3/4 hours. He is no longer fighting me, we are beating Matilda Moo the cow together. For the first morning ever we got to school without screaming or tears, I feel like a new woman. You can get many different Animal noise clocks and having tried so many things I can only say, get one and try it, the difference within 24 hours is astonishing. Let's hope the

I admire your resilience, the perseverance and determination I can sense in you to overcome the obstacles in your life. It's not easy to look after children with no special needs so I believe all moms out there know what kind of struggle you face not only with Bong but with all the rest as well, on top of other things. Way to go and know you have buddies here who are ready to listen to you any time.

Thanks Hopeful! I do what I can to help him and usually I'm whinging about the problems, let's hope that this is a turning point and that I'm going to find ways to improve conditions for all of us. It's not always easy and sometimes I feel that I am a bad mum because I cannot do everything but I really do appreciate the ideas and support that all my friends here give me.

Thank-you poppet, don't know if it works on estate agents ,you could maybe find a fire breathing dragon clock, who knows? I put this on in case it helps some other screaming mummy, but you can try it on the estate agent and let me know, lol.

Yay! I'm so glad for you that you find something that motivates your little guy :) My big guy is now on a rigid schedule that he has set for himself that can be both a blessing and a curse. I miss the days when cute things could motivate him. Now, the things he likes are so expensive! Big kid toys *sigh*

Thank-you so much for your continues support - Matilda Moo even managed to get him ready in about an hour today (Saturday), I'm definately a new mum abd Roo tries too bless him. I even had enough energy to go through their wardrobe and weed out the old cloths today, yippee. I'm sorry your son has discovered big boys toys they are so expensive, hope you have a good day!
