Ahem ! Well i think pants and jeans were initially made only for gents and it was only later on , that girls also started to wear them as a fashion statemment. I guess, the makers failed to notice this change and forget to make necessary modification. A very accute observatin by you indeed. I think, this is oing to be a very popuular thread :).
