Dreamcatcher - Dreamcathers were made for the babies.
I make dreamcatchers. But they are not like any you have seen before. I make them in the shape of spirals, and they spin when wind hits them. The dreamcatchers origins goes back to the Obijawa (also known as the Choctaw). Dreamcatchers were made and hung over the babies. Much like the mobiles we use today. The webs were to catch the dreams. The bad dreams got stuck in the web, but the good dreams drip down the feathers and into the babies head. Many people think that all Indians made these, but it's not true.
