what are your thoughts about clerks 2

I was really surprised with clerks 2 because I didn't expect it to be good. Clerks was a classic and although Kevin Smith is a great film maker, he jokes can sometimes be drawn out a little too far. However, I found Clerks 2 to be extremely funny and at the say time a great hommage to the original. The ending was especially fitting and I think Kevin Smith hit another homerun. It seems that New Jersey slackers and stoners are his area of expertise. On a side note, the love story part was reminscient of Chasing Amy in the sense that it never got too lovey-dovey or forced, it was always just right.
