what makes myspace sooo appealing?

i've posted variations of this on other myspace topics, so i'll add it here. myspace is popular for a lot of people, because it allows small, start-ups to reach a large, international auidence. bands, wheter in the US, UK, Asia, or wherever, now have a chance to not only promote their music to their local area or country, but the world. the same is true of artists, writers, film makers/students, etc.

I am meeting people from all over the world on my space. I have a guy I have been talking to from London, I've talked to a few from Nigeria. Hey, you can people from all over the world on and get the im going. Save on phone bills since that is all free.

to be honest.. i am not even there on myspace.. i know.. it's a big place.. and there are probably millions of people out there.. but i am not into these things.. places and forums such as mylot and others are far more interesting in my opinion! lolx

I don't get into myspace that much, but I know a lot of people who are addicted to it! maybe taht is why I am staying away!
