Anyone been abducted??

I'm reading a book at the moment written by someone who claims to have been repeatedly abducted by aliens. I'm fascinated by this subject, and I was just wondering if anyone here on MyLot has had any alien abduction experience?
I certainly believe in aliens myself. I think the universe is far too big for earth to be the only planet with 'intelligent' life on it. That just doesn't make sense rationally to me.
Do you believe in aliens? What do you think about the alleged abductions?

For reasons which I do not wish to disclose, I suspect that I have been abducted. However, I'm not sure if it was by aliens or some sort of secret government program...or both. I don't find the thought of it at all appealing. It's actually quite scary an can send me into a panic attack when I seriously think about it.

Spiralbutterfly that sounds terrible!!! I'm so sorry you've had such an awful experience. I find the subject fascinating, but understand your need for privacy. Many thanks for responding though.
ps I sometimes suffer from panic attacks myself - I used to much more than now in the past but they have lessened thank goodness - so I know how awful they are. :(

I believe in aliens, for the following reasons. The universe is infinite, therefore the laws of probability state that somewhere, there really should be life. Plant life has been found on Mars, which suggests that other types of life might be present. I don't have any idea what the intentions of these aliens would be, but let's be honest... If they were to come to Earth, they would take one look at it and go home again.
I don't know why aliens would want to abduct humans, with the exception of finding out about us; to further some experiments?

Yes I agree with you on all points.
I also am not sure what to think about the abduction stories. Maybe we are some sort of intergalactic lab rat lol!

i would like to be abducted by UFO aliens,,,but i think i will pee my pants and my heart will hurt since i suffer from high blood preassure.And also i do belive in SOME of the abductions happened to people in the past.Us the humans are sooooo very self centered and we(not me)think that we are the only ones in universe,,,,,,,we're wroooong!!!!!

Yes I also think its SUCH an egotistical viewpoint to think we're the only planet with intelligent life! In such a massive universe!
I think I agree with you as well that probably some of the abductions are true. And some are probably just people trying to get money or fame.

i do not understand yet what kind of experiments THEY do on human bodies when they took a people away..
