I have this happen at least 4 or 5 times a month. I can be doing something, like today, I was cleaning house and all of a sudden, I get the shakes and start to feel nauseated. I don't know if my blood sugar drops or what. I ate a teaspoon of sugar and drank water behind it and feel better, but it's just a thing that drains you. Does anyone else have this happen to them? What do you do when it does?

It definitely sounds like your blood sugar. You might want to try snacking on something every 2 - 3 hours so you won't get shaky. That way it will be easier to maintain than run the risk of fainting which can be dangerous.

Thanks for replying, I definitely don't want to faint here by myself.

This sounds exactly like a blood sugar problem. I get it quite a bit, and usually a glass of orange juice takes care of it. I also then have something to eat.

Thanks so much. I'll try the orange juice. Has your Dr. told you this is what is causing yours?

Maybe you just need to eat something, or have a drink of water, when we get busy, we often froget to eat and drink, and this can lead to sudden drops in blood sugar or fluid. Remember to take frequent breaks for food and liquids.

I drink bottled water all day long and had eaten a snack cup of chocolate pudding at 3pm. I also had a large bowl of cereal for breakfast. But, I did have a cup of coffee around 4pm. I just wonder if it was the caffeine?
