How do you brew coffee the turkish way?

I love strong coffee. The best coffee I have had so far was in Greece. I had some espresso. I thought if I buy a french press I can recreate the experience. Close, but not quite. Recently I bought a Moka pot to make espresso on the stove. I love it, but it is still not the same (though I can make a very good Breve better than Starbucks :-))Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?

The secret is in the type of coffee you use. It really pays off to buy some a bit more expensive coffee. Whole beans if possible.
