well technically, just pay 10% of the air ticket and off you go! but of course, if i'm coming with, it'd be my treat, yeah? but first things first, befriend me! i'm new here in mylot and would like to have a bunch of people with whom to regularly discuss views on anything at all! like for instance, the nature of our jobs? anything weird about yours? well i'll go first. my job is to cater to passengers, some high and mighty, some meek and shy. they fly from all over to everywhere else, and i am one of the people responsible to feed them, revive them if needed, or evacuate them from the aircraft in case of an emergency. undeniably, being a flight attendant has the image of glamour and grace, but in reality, aside from knowing how to revive someone in case of a faint, or cardiac arrest, we also have the lovely task of cleaning toilets, preparin meals, and serving abusive passengers. however, all that aside, the compensation is great, and i get to travel all over. what about you? what are the bad sides and good sides of your chosen profession? let me know!

hey since you're in dubai, it should be easier! :) the application from manila is much tougher because there's too many of us applying and they only take like 10 at a time, fro sometimes 600 applicants. i have a friend who came from dubai, and she testified that it's easier to apply. you even have so many airlines to choose from! :) keep trying! just be yourself. well, the best version of yourself you can be, anyway! that's what i did!
