dukes of hazzard?

is dukes of hazzard(the begining) a totaly different movie from what just came out or are they 2 seperate movies. if they are why wasnt the first one called the begining?

I did see The Dukes of Hazzard released in 2005 starring Seann William Scott, Johnny Knoxville, Jessica Simpson.... This movie sucked big time, I hated the movie so much that I think why did I wasted my time in such a boring movie ....
