I chose to become a vegetarian almost 2 years ago and I feel so much better. There is such a variety of foods to eat that I never tire of eating the same thing. I was just wondering if you liked being a vegetarian also. If not, why?

I've become a vegetarian since 31 August 2006. I know it's only been four months and 27 days but I definitely love it. I enjoy the fact that I have more option in what I can eat and I noticed that my tastebuds have become keen on flavours. Plus, it's fun to think of what I'll cook for myself. I haven't been tempted to eat meat since I decided to become a vegetarian and I don't think I'll go back to being carnivorous again.

I totally understand what you mean about your taste buds changing. Mine did the same thing. Some vegetables seemed to have a really sweet flavor that I had never noticed before. I also love figuring out different veggie recipes for variety. It's fun!

I always wanted to be a vegetarian for health reasons but I just can't avoid eating meat products all the time. I don't like to offend people while at parties or dinner invitations by turning down their offers. But on my own I try as much as possible to limit my food to vegetables, I believe, it's good fo the health.

for me, being a vegeterian is a way of life. when i was 8 years old i realised that meat is "an animal which was killed" and since then i don't eat anything which was an animal( and yes, fish is an animal) i think that it's a brave decision for a little child so, yes, i like to be vegeterian and i am proud to be vegeterian.
