1991 Explorer power window repair

I am trying to fix a power window on a 91 Explorer. The motor is OK, but the cable is meesed up. The short end of the cable is detached from I don't know where and both cables are kinked and frayed. Any suggestions? Anywhere I could get a drawing or picture that will show how to replace he cable?
