The Excessive Use of Capital Letters and "Text" type format

some people here in mylot continue to post using all capital letters and sometimes text type format (sms messaging). these is prohibited by mylot. the use of all capital letters has a bad connotation-- it is like you are shouting or yelling. i hope those who use capital letters in all their posts will read this discussion and learn from it.
same is true with "text type" posts. we are not sending an sms here. instead of who, some would use "hu", or "tnx" instead of thanks. sometimes i dont understand posts written this way.. everything is shortcut. they are not readable at times.. come on mylot is not a mobile phone.

Yes even I have seen this things and I would like to does the people who are doing this that this is not the right way to go. Why don't you post that discussions properly read or know that people here are to earn money but there are some rules you have to follow. The mods clearly stated that that don't use capital letters too often but if you still do that I think an action should be taken against you and then only can people understand that too was a maid to be followed and not to be broken what else can I say

thanks amitavroy. i think these people who make use of capital letters do not know of the rule because they did not read the rule. but then "ignorance of the rule (law) excuses no one".

I agree. Sometimes I haven't a clue as to what folks are saying. I don' rate those replies at all. I figured out a couple of these sms as you call them just by the context of the message.
I don't mind a few caps here and there just to put emphasis on a word. An entire post in caps is also difficult to read.

Capital letters mean yelling or attetion read me.....i don't agree with it, it is to pushy and makes me not want to discuss their issue....yes I am a "." aholic but hey it gets the point across in some cases.
