do u believe in love after love?

i had been in love once and madly,truly and deeply .But the breakup left shattered and i am not able to regroup myself to love once again .As soon as someone gets close to me i find myself distancing myself from her.I dont have the courage to go on love any new girl because of that and my past experiences are getting to be a mental block for me to get into a new relationship. Does anybody also have had similiar experiences,please i appreciate ur sharing ur experience and maybe i can find a way out of this.
