Who is your favorite author and why?

Awsome book. Read that as a sophmore in high school. Thought I would do just for the credit and ended up getting more out of the book than one would think possible. It is based on true facts. Anne Rice is one of my truly favorites and if you keep up with her writing they seem to tie into each other somewhat like Stephen Kings books. Another of my favorites.

I like way to many authors to pick just one. But I always find myself returning to Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart" because he describes the traditions and culture of a Nigerian Tribe and shows what happens when people interfer.

i'hav read only one book till now.. its a good suspence humor novel called fivepoint something by chetan bhagat.. it was a good one and suggest to have a read..
