I've had a negative experience thus far with credit cards. I suppose if you are mature enough to use them responsibly they can be helpful, but I was eighteen- naive and stupid.
I'm still paying off the one credit card ($1000 limit), I have $500 left to pay after 3 years of paying it, because I bought more than I could afford, and didn't make the minimum repayments. It is now cancelled, so fortunatelyy I can't get myself into any further trouble.
I wouldn't get another one, or reccommend to anyone I know to get one as I can't see them as more of a benefit than a hinderance.
How about yourself? Have you ever had a credit card? What was your experience?

I haven't really had experince with a credit card. But I've been using a Visa debit for quite some time now. I think debits are better because it limits your spending. You can only use it if it has funds. =)
