Guys, I have an old 486 computer machine. I never use it again. But I plan to install damn small linux in it to make it useful. When I check it. I found that the harddisk and the cdrom is broken. It's a 216 MB harddisk and 8x CDROM. I want to change the harddisk with 2.4 GB. Is it possible for 486 CPU use 2.4 GB harddisk? If yes, Do I must uprgrade the memory? For inforamtion it has 64 MB memory now. Please help me...

I had a 486 once! Nice PC ! I was playing CATS on it, it was the only game I knew that time! So , let me see.. I won`t recommend you to do this investment (to buy RAM and HDD)! You better get some more cash and buy a SH Pentium 1 or even 2 (It won`t cost U more than 100$)! And you hava a better PC to use as a network server! :) Good luck !
