Do you usually follow the rules?

Even the small inconsequential ones, or do you break them when no one is around and watching?

I try to follow the rules so long as they are logical which is most of the time but there have been times I have bucked the system...

If they are rules as per the Law, then I respect the law. But if they are rules as set out by my parents and family, and those social rules - I break them in accordance with what I see to be my own truth. Mind you it took a while to realise I was able to break those rules. I didn't realise I was being conditioned in accordance with their beliefs.

I feel really conditioned to follow social norms, haha, so I follow the rules almost all the time when people are watching. Most of the time I'll do the same even when there's not much chance of me "getting caught" but more and more lately I've found myself breaking trivial rules...

I always try to obey the laws of the land. Laws and rules do not necessarily mean the same thing. For rules that are not law, it depends on the place and whether they make sense. I try to work within the system to effect change for the better with laws and rules. Both are there for the good of the people, so why not try to make it better. If I find the rules are impossible to live with and I am not able to assist in bringing about a change, then I move on.

It depends of what rules. If you talk about rules in traffic, when you drive your car, i must admit that i don`t respect all the rules. I respect the rules, if i know that there are tickets for them :D

I follow all the rules until I find something wrong with them and that it would not work for me. So, I change it to what fits me.
