The 2010 World Cup - The World Cup in South Africa - a mistake?
I don't think South Africa Should have been chosen to host this competition just because it has more economical power than other african nations. The South African national football team plays poor football lately...I think Tunisia or Morocco even Egypt would have been a better choice. However, I hope we'll see a great football performance!

It sounds like things are well in hand in South Africa. According to the 2006 year-end briefing, Cape Town's stadium is ahead of schedule. And government ministers have been slated to oversee construction of different stadiums and to ensure their readiness (I don't know if that's a good thing or not). And Africa will have SIX teams in the Cup (5 plus South Africa).
