If you have a weak stomach, I don't advise seeing it.

Not for the era. It is a very realistic movie and it had to be to get the point across.

No, I think it is a great movie, it lets people see what Jesus went through for us.

Passion of Christ- It was a great movi, outlined the big contrast of how gentle Jesus' lessons were, and how brutal his last days were
Have a nice day!

The Passion of the Christ was an excellent movie. It was a violent movie about violent subject matter. It was about time someone told it like it really was! The graphic nature of the movie deeply enhanced my experience and caused me to really consider in a new light what Christ did for me.

Well, Mel Gibson did add some things to the movie that were not mentioned in the bible. It seems that the actual beating of Christ might have been over exaggerated and the ongoing presence of Mary was too. But, the movie was made from a catholics point of view, and catholics put Mary right up there with Jesus as far as holiness goes. I am not catholic, but baptist. I was very emotional as I watched the movie because I knew that this actually happened to Jesus.
