FRIENDS at mylot. IF you met in person, would you still be FRIENDS?

Yes, Yes, Yes! There are several myLot friends that I would love to meet in person. Each time I read their posts I think to myself, "I would so love to meet him/her in person, I just know that we'd hit it off and become good friends." Why would I want to meet them? Because I feel that we have similar viewpoints on issues, similar personality traits, similar senses of humor and would enjoy each other's company immensely. I live in a very remote area that is culturally very different from anything I have ever been a part of, and both my husband and I find it very difficult to find adult friends here. We can't wait to retire and move.

I agree with you. I have some super great friends on MyLot. I can tell how they email, or respond to my posts, that we could be great friends if we were to meet. We seem to have the same view points and similar personalities and character.

I have to admit, there are a few people here that I would love to meet face to face. They have such great personalities and I think it would be an experience of a life time to be able to sit with all those just talking and laughing. There are so many here that have made me laugh when I just have not been in the mood to laugh. There have been many that has been able to make me take my mind off the pain when I have been suffering so many migraines. So, sure, I would love to be able to meet some of these people in real life. I think they would turn out to be a pleasure to have as real life friends.

It would be really neat if we could meet and I could enjoy my time with them alot. It would up to who I would meet if we could maintain a friendship. Would love it if we could! I think people are neat and the bits of people I know of on this site intrigue me and makes them interesting!

Probably not .. I think we all make up personalities for the people we chat with or post comments to on the internet .. and I very much doubt if we get it right .. I'm not saying I'm not a nice person or anything, but I think when you have expectations of someone and then they are different it's hard to adjust your thoughts to the new personality you've found they have .. So it's not that you wouldn't like them ., it's more that they are different to how you were expecting them to be ..

There are at least a couple of people that I've met on Mylot that I think I would be friends with in real life. One is cremecheese. she has been really wonderful and has stood up for me in ways I didn't expect anyone to do. The other person that I feel I have talked to the most is you! And I think that we would get along well. ^_^ There are other people who's posts I really like, as well, like Penguinsangel and umm a few others who I can't think of right now. But yes, there are definitely people on Mylot who I would consider as friends and could see being friends with in person if i weren't so shy and we all lived closer! *laugh*

Yes there are a few that I would like to meet in Person as their Personality comes across to me in their Discussions but also in just talking to them in either Discussions or by PM

Oh YES! I would be more than happy to meet my friend in mylot in real. If I get them as real life friend I will be very happy. I hope sometime with some friend I surely will be able to meet in real.
